An Odoo bookkeeper who knows the set-up too.

We know Odoo down to the settings and keep the books in your own Odoo environment. When something goes wrong, we look for the cause in the settings, which saves you corrections every month.

What we take care of in Odoo

The complete bookkeeping, or just the part you would rather hand over. In your own environment, so you can follow everything live.

  • Vendor bills and customer invoices, journal entries and the general ledger, posted correctly and fully explained.
  • VAT returns and EC sales lists (ICP), and any other periodic filings.
  • Credit control and payables monitoring. Who still owes you money, and what is due to go out?
  • Bank reconciliation in Odoo. Automatic where possible, the rest by hand.
  • Month-end close against a standard checklist, with all balance sheet items reconciled.
  • Annual accounts and corporate income tax return, prepared by us.

This is what reconciliation looks like

Bank lines come in and are matched to the right invoices. Anything that does not match automatically, we reconcile by hand.

Why a bookkeeper who knows Odoo

Fixing errors at the source

If a VAT code, journal or integration is set up wrongly, we correct the configuration, so the same error does not come back next month.

In your own environment

We work in your own Odoo, never in a system of ours. The data stays yours, and on Odoo Online our user costs you nothing.

One point of contact

Questions about the bookkeeping and questions about the system go to the same people. Nobody refers you on to an implementation partner.

Accounting firm or finance department

A traditional accounting firm processes and reports from a distance. Working as your finance department goes further: fixed delivery dates and a monthly calendar, regular discussions about the figures, and advice on what can be improved.

You can also keep part of the work in-house. In that case, we set things up, train your team and then review your work periodically. You decide how the work is divided.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Odoo version matter?

We look at that in the Odoo finance check, together with the type of environment (Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own installation) and the configuration. After that, we can tell you what we can do for you.

Do we need to pay for an extra Odoo licence for FID Finance?

No. On Odoo Online, our user costs you nothing. We work in your own environment.

Do we still need an accountant?

Not for the annual accounts and the tax returns: we prepare those ourselves. You only need an auditor if you are subject to a statutory audit. The auditor then carries out the audit, and we provide a file that is easy to follow.

How do we get started?

With a 30-minute introductory call, followed by a proposal. Once that is agreed, we carry out the Odoo finance check on your bookkeeping.

Start with an introductory call

Half an hour to go through where your bookkeeping stands today. After that, you receive a proposal with a fixed scope and price.
